A medium/large bore was chosen in the design of the JP051 Bb Trumpet to provide good resistance to younger players. The instrument also features an adjustable 3rd valve slide ring for improved comfort and ensures the player doesn’t outgrow the instrument. A rose brass leadpipe comes as standard supporting students and novices to achieve an encouraging sound. The inclusion of 2 waterkeys also helps those new to brass instruments to easily keep their instrument well maintained.

The JP051 Bb Trumpet comes with a sturdy case with backpack and shoulder straps, and an outer pocket. Also included is a JP601 mouthpiece, a bottle of Ultra Pure valve oil and a maintenance guide with advice to help keep your instrument in perfect order. The case also includes a small storage pocket accessible for the outside of the case. This enables players to store small accessories and sheet music with their instrument.

An exclusive and specially designed Smith Watkins leadpipe was created for the JP251SW driving excellent articulation and sound projection. The JP251SW also features adjustable 1st and 3rd valve slides, monel valves and is constructed from high grade 80:20 brass enabling the instrument to achieve a highly attractive tone.
